On the ice

From the US to Germany

My career began at Michigan State University, where I played for the Spartans for four years and was named "Big Ten Goalie of the Year" in 2015. After that, my journey took me to the ECHL, where I played for teams like the Indy Fuel and the Allen Americans. Every stop along the way has helped me grow and sharpen my skills as a goalie.

Moving to Europe was an exciting step for me. First with the Löwen Frankfurt, and since the 2023/24 season, I've been guarding the net for the Eisbären Berlin in the DEL. I'm really proud to have won the championship with my team.

Hockey Life as a Goalie

The fascination of being a hockey goalie comes from a mix of mental strength, quick reactions, and staying calm under pressure. These are the things that drew me to the position from the start.

But there's more to it than that. There’s something almost addictive about the rush you feel when you're in the crease, with all eyes on you, and it's just you against the shooter.

Catching and deflecting pucks isn't just about skill; it's about anticipation and instinct. It's about your reflexes, your focus, and your ability to read the game. The moment the puck leaves the stick, time seems to slow down. You can almost feel the tension in the air as the crowd holds its breath.

And when you make that save, when you hear the satisfying thud of the puck hitting your pads or the soft thwack as it lands in your glove, it's a feeling like no other. It's not just about keeping the puck out of the net; it's about protecting your team, being the backbone they can rely on.
